Diana Filbey
Hi I'm Diana, a mom to a full of life little girl.
I am currently working on getting my cosmetology license and enrolled at Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology. Before joining the Paul Mitchell School, I worked as an office assistant for a year and half after I became pregnant.
I graduated high school in 2016 and I decided to take a year off to figure out what I wanted to do. In my gap year I learned I was pregnant - I was 18. I became pregnant some time in June (not 100% sure because I have always had issues with my cycles). Since my cycles were irregular I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 4 months along. I had no morning sickness even though at the time I was working at a fast food restaurant. When I learned I was pregnant my life turned upside down. I was young and confused, I toyed with the option of putting my baby up for adoption to guarantee she had the best life possible. However, with the support of my mom I decided to keep her and give her the best life.
I would not have changed anything that has happened because it has made me the person I am today. My daughter is my everything. My mom, sister, and boyfriend help keep me sane. They are a godsend, I don’t know what I would do without them.
